Fractional CMO | AI Strategy & Adoption | Deep Tech Go-To-Market

Every technology problem is a people problem

Which is good news: people problems are solvable. I use behavioural science, storytelling and change management to make your technology deliver business outcomes.

For enterprises adopting AI, deep tech founders entering Western markets, and the ecosystems that grow them.

Who I work with

Innovation challenges I help to solve

Enterprises adopting AI

Tools bought, pilots running, returns unclear. Nearly 90% of organisations already use AI in at least one function; 60% see minimal returns and only 5% reach outsized results (BCG). I work on the gap: strategy, readiness, adoption, workflows, and the behavioural side of change - because the resistance is human, not technical.

See the enterprise offers

Deep tech founders

Seed to Series B, funded, no senior marketing leadership yet. The technology works; the narrative does not convert with investors or Western enterprise buyers. I run the audit, own the strategy, or build the fundraising story with you - grounded in the TRL/BRL model and 2026 funding data.

See the deep tech offers

Accelerators and ecosystems

Cohorts full of strong science and thin commercial narrative. I design and deliver the workshops founders keep quoting: AI for GTM, storytelling for deep tech, enterprise pilot strategy, tech show bootcamps, create-the-market sizing, getting recommended by AI search. Available as full programme design or one-hour punch workshops - built on delivered cohorts and 2026 data, including AI House's Deep Tech Accelerator, where one of my mentee teams won the pitching competition.

Google Foundations - AI training that non-technical people use

How I work

Data and case study driven: how I work to deliver the best outcomes for you

Diagnosis before advice

Every engagement starts with a paid, fixed-scope audit. It protects your budget and my judgement - and it is the fastest way to find out whether we should work together at all.

No source, no claim

Every statistic I use can be traced to a named source. The same standard applies to your materials once I am involved: nothing goes to an investor or a buyer that cannot survive a fact-check.

I direct; specialists deliver

My job is strategy, narrative and decisions. Design, paid media and engineering are done by people who do them daily - directed by me, never improvised by me.

AI does the routine, judgement stays human

I use AI tools daily and teach teams to do the same. Anything AI-assisted is checked by a human before it reaches you, and I will tell you which is which.

Boundaries in writing

Deliverables, effort budgets and out-of-scope items are listed in every offer. Extras are welcome - as priced add-ons agreed in advance, not as silent scope creep.

Hands-on expertise, real case studies

Every recommendation traces to work I have delivered - EltegraAI, XME.digital, the AI House cohort - or to named 2026 data. No borrowed playbooks, no theory without a case behind it.

About

Iryna Manukovska

Iryna Manukovska

Strategic thinker, hands-on doer. My work is synthesis: connecting technology with the behavioural science of how people actually operate, through storytelling and change management.

Twenty years across FMCG, automotive, telecom and B2B tech taught me the same lesson from different angles: technology delivers business outcomes only when the humans around it change how they work. That is the layer I own - strategy that survives contact with real teams.

The credibility signals, sourced: a Gold SABRE Award (Ogilvy, 2012 - Top 50 PR campaigns worldwide), an MSc in Applied Systems Analysis with First Class Honours, Google Foundations AI trainer to 200+ professionals, an ICF coaching credential, and current roles as Strategic Partnerships & Scaling Director Europe at UAtech and advisory board member at Global Tech Advocates Cyprus.

Away from the laptop: family hikes in the Cyprus mountains, Brazilian jiu jitsu, and abstract painting - shown in UNESCO's Seeds of Culture project.

Reading

Books I recommend to read this quarter

Playing to Win by A.G. Lafley and Roger L. Martin

Because strategy is a choice

Strategy is not a plan or a vision deck - it is a set of choices about where to play and how to win. The book behind the line I keep repeating to founders: you are not too small for strategic goals; you are doomed to stay small without them.

Range by David Epstein

Because diverse organisations and teams simply perform better

Generalists triumph in a specialised world - and the evidence runs from sport to science. Twenty years across four industries is exactly the range this book defends, and why cross-domain teams keep outperforming narrow ones.

Clear Thinking by Shane Parrish

Because every leader needs to be confident in decisions taken

Most bad decisions happen before thinking starts - in the default reactions nobody notices. Parrish's frameworks are the ones I walk founders through when a business-model choice has to be made under pressure, with incomplete data.

Before you book

Questions people ask first

What does a fractional CMO actually cost?
€3,500 per month for one day a week; €6,000-7,000 for two days. Three-month minimum, then rolling monthly with 30 days' notice.
Do you execute, or advise?
I own strategy, narrative and direction. Execution sits with your team or with specialists I direct. If a scope asks me to write all the content and run the ads myself, I will say no - and tell you who should do it instead.
We are not sure we need AI yet. Is the readiness audit still useful?
That is exactly what it is for. Around 60% of organisations see minimal returns on AI (BCG). The audit tells you where AI is worth it for your specific use cases, where it is not, and what to fix first. "Not yet" is a valid result, and I will say it plainly.
Which sectors do you know?
Deep tech and B2B: AI products, telecom, energy, climate and carbon, defence-adjacent, and professional services. I only reference work I can evidence, and every figure on this site carries a named source.
Where are you based, and do you travel?
Limassol, Cyprus. Most work runs remotely across EMEA. On-site days are agreed and billed in advance. Workshops and programmes are delivered in English or Ukrainian.
Do you use AI in your own work?
Daily, and openly. AI drafts, researches and structures; I decide, verify and sign. Anything AI-assisted is checked by a human before it reaches you - and this site says so in the footer.
